Meet Kevin Crow

The Conservative Choice for Working Class Oklahomans 

Kevin Crow lives in Chickasha with his wife Rani and their two children, Sophie and Cato. His wife Rani is a native of Minco where her father and grandparents operate a cattle ranch on land that her family has lived on for over 100 years. The Crow family are members of Southern Oaks Church of Christ in Chickasha. 

 

Kevin Crow is active in local and state politics. He currently represents Grady County as a committee person for the Republicans of the Fourth District and has served as a member of the Executive Committee of the State Republican Party.

 

Kevin Crow is a frequent guest lecturer at various civic organizations across the state and has served as a moderator at various political and academic forums both in Oklahoma and out of the state.

Professional Experience:

Dr. Crow currently serves as an Associate Professor of History and Education at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma where he teaches a variety of topics such as Ancient Civilizations, Medieval and Early Modern Civilizations, Modern Civilizations, Russian History, Classical Greece, The Hellenistic World and Early Christianity, The Roman Republic, History of England and France 1455-1789, Non-Western World 600-1600, Ideology and Mass Culture in the Modern World, Teaching Social Studies in Secondary Schools, Political Geography of the Modern World, and various World Thought and Culture courses

 

In addition to teaching, Dr. Crow serves as an advisor for students majoring in history, supervises teacher candidates pursuing social studies certification during their professional trimester and serves as a university representative for Resident Year Teacher Committees.

 

In recognition of his excellence in teaching, Dr. Crow was awarded the Regents Award for Superior Teaching in 2008 and again in 2010.

 

Before coming to USAO, Dr. Crow served as an Assistant Professor of History at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff where he also oversaw the Social Studies Education Program.

 

Dr. Crow has also held various teaching positions at other presitigous institutions such as the University of Kentucky, Western Kentucky University, Arkansas Tech University and Georgetown College.
